Job Duties

  • Organize, confirm, process, and conduct all guest check-ins/check-outs
  • manage room reservations, requests, changes, and cancellations
  • secure payment and verify billing adjustments
  • activate and file room keys
  • process guest requests and relay messages
  • print contingency guest lists for emergency records
  • explain room features and provide directions and hotel information
  • follow up and resolve outstanding guest issues
  • run and review daily reports and logs
  • complete cashier and closing reports
  • accept and record wake-up calls
  • count and secure cash bank at shift start and end
  • process all payment types and provide change
  • notify Loss Prevention/Security of theft reports
  • follow company policies and maintain safety standards
  • uphold professional appearance and confidentiality
  • welcome guests and anticipate service needs
  • assist guests with disabilities
  • communicate professionally by phone and in person
  • develop positive working relationships and support team goals
  • comply with quality assurance standards
  • perform physical duties like standing, sitting, walking, and handling objects up to 10 pounds
  • perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors
