The role emphasizes not only the transactional aspects of customer service but also the importance of building positive relationships with the public and city staff. Besides direct customer interaction, the Guest Service Receptionist supports administrative functions that help the department operate smoothly and efficiently. Candidates must be able to exercise independent judgment and prioritize tasks to meet the department's needs.

Applicants will be considered on a rolling basis, and the hiring process may close once a suitable candidate has been selected. This emphasizes the importance of submitting applications promptly.
