Job Requirements
- high school education or GED equivalent
- minimum of one-year experience as a cashier
- previous work experience with data entry
- familiarity with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook
- ability to interact with the public in a courteous and tactful manner
- considerable typing experience
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- ability to exercise independent judgment for clerical responsibilities
- availability to work early shifts on Tuesdays from 4:45 am to 10:45 am
Job Qualifications
- high school education or GED equivalent

- ability to exercise independent judgment with upper level clerical responsibility
- displays the ability to deal with the public in a courteous and tactful manner
- considerable typing experience including letters, flyers, and reports
- or such alternatives to the above qualifications as the City may find appropriate and acceptable
Job Duties
- Welcome walk-in customers and answer callers' inquiries
- complete and enter program registration and membership transactions into the appropriate database
- have extensive contact with the general public and staff from all City departments
- perform various office support duties and housekeeping tasks as scheduled or requested
- complete established opening and closing procedures for the NBCC as scheduled
- perform other job related responsibilities as apparent or assigned
