The hotel prides itself on providing a warm, friendly atmosphere with convenient access to local attractions, making it an excellent choice for both business and leisure guests.
The Country Inn & Suites of Roseville is currently looking for an experienced Guest Service Manager to join their team in a full-time, hourly position with a pay rate of $20.00 per hour. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk and overall guest experience. The Guest Service Manager will be responsible for leading and supervising the front desk team, ensuring every guest receives exceptional service from check-in to check-out. The position requires availability for evenings, weekends, and providing call-off support as needed.
This leadership role works closely with the General Manager to uphold operational excellence by managing daily front desk activities, resolving guest concerns effectively, and maintaining high guest satisfaction standards. The role involves managing schedules, staffing, and department operations while supporting the hotel’s revenue goals through upselling and strategic rate management. Additionally, the Guest Service Manager helps enforce company policies, cash handling procedures, and safety regulations, ensuring compliance throughout the operation.
Beyond managing front desk operations, the role requires conducting property inspections to maintain cleanliness and quality standards. The manager assists with budgeting, supply management, and contributes to the overall hotel performance and profitability. Acting as Manager on Duty when necessary, the Guest Service Manager supports hotel-wide operations and plays a vital part in creating memorable guest experiences.
The ideal candidate will bring strong customer service skills, leadership abilities, and excellent communication and organizational skills. Experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is essential, along with a professional attitude and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer proficiency and business acumen are also required. A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory, and an associate degree is preferred. Prior supervisory experience is advantageous.
The Country Inn & Suites offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, health savings and flexible spending account options. Additional benefits include company-paid short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, accidental death and dismemberment insurance, voluntary life insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid holidays, paid time off, sick time, employee hotel discounts, and after meeting eligibility requirements, free employee medical coverage and highly discounted family coverage.
This role is an exciting opportunity for hospitality professionals passionate about leading teams, enhancing guest satisfaction, and contributing to the success of a well-established hotel brand. Candidates will undergo a pre-employment background check and drug screening, and the employer is an E-Verify participant and an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
