Job Requirements

  • Pass appropriate security clearance per company policy
  • Able to perform major life activities such as standing, lifting up to 60 pounds unassisted, bending and communicating
  • Able to stand for eight hours
  • Able to see and hear
  • Able to communicate with guests and associates
  • Available to work any day or shift including nights and weekends
  • Physical presence required at the hotel
  • Periodic overnight travel may be required

Job Qualifications

  • One year experience supervising at least three associates
  • Two years experience in service industry
  • Knowledge of area shopping, dining, entertainment and travel directions
  • Ability to train and develop associates
  • Computer literacy including property management system operation
  • Supervisory skills including hiring, training, appraising and motivating staff
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and associates
  • Ability to multi task and maintain guest service focus

Job Duties

  • Oversees all guest services associates and ensures guests’ needs are met in a timely and friendly manner
  • Ensures all guest services associates are adhering to brand policies and procedures
  • Assists with guest issues if they cannot be immediately resolved by a guest services associate
  • Oversees lobby operations and hotel amenities such as concierge, valet, pool and spa operations
  • Works with General Manager to ensure scheduling and inventories are within anticipated budget
  • Analyzes guest feedback and formulates strategies to improve overall rating
  • Completes administrative duties including schedules, payroll, inventories, and orders
