CineLux Theatres is currently hiring for the position of Guest Service Host, a part-time, non-exempt role reporting directly to the General Manager. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about movies and committed to delivering outstanding service. As a Guest Service Host, you will be the face of the company, providing front-line customer service and ensuring that visitors have a memorable experience. Working 15-30 hours per week, candidates need to be flexible with their availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

The Guest Service Host role encompasses several responsibilities. In the capacity of a Box Office Host, you will sell tickets and gift cards, answer questions about film content and ratings, provide directions to the theater, update guests on current prices and promotions, and handle box office maintenance and reporting duties. As a Concessions Host, your duties will include selling fresh food and beverages, assembling orders, operating point-of-sale terminals, and maintaining the cleanliness of the concession area, which includes cooking equipment, counters, glass display cases, condiment areas, preparation spaces, and stock rooms.

Job Requirements

  • minimum availability of three days per week including nights and holidays
  • physical ability to frequently lift or carry up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
  • ability to bend, lift and reach repeatedly
  • capability to stand or sit for long periods
  • legal eligibility to work in the United States
  • must be at least 16 years old

Job Qualifications

  • outgoing, positive and enthusiastic attitude toward working with the public and coworkers
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
  • good communication skills
  • basic math and cash handling skills
  • prior customer service experience preferred
