This ethos is deeply embedded in the Four Seasons philosophy which values the Golden Rule - treating others with the same care and respect as one would expect. This commitment extends not only to guests but also to employees, residents, and the broader community, creating meaningful interpersonal relationships and leaving lasting positive impacts well beyond the immediate interaction.
As a global leader in luxury hospitality, Four Seasons offers a dynamic and inclusive work environment that encourages individual uniqueness while emphasizing teamwork and dedication to quality. The organization believes an outstanding employee journey is essential to curating extraordinary guest moments, thus providing extensive training, career development opportunities, and a vibrant workplace culture. Four Seasons is also committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, actively recruiting a workforce that respects varied backgrounds and perspectives, making it a coveted employer in the hospitality industry.
The opportunity at Four Seasons is to join the team as a Host/Hostess supporting the breakfast outlet and the signature Italian restaurant, Ravello. This role is vital to creating the first impression for guests, ensuring a welcoming and seamless dining experience from arrival to seating and throughout their visit. The Host/Hostess will manage reception areas, maintain cleanliness and supplies, and implement security protocols for the restaurant and bar premises. They will offer a friendly greeting to guests, attentively gather seating preferences, and communicate effectively with guests and restaurant management to optimize table assignments and accommodate special requests.
This position demands a warm and professional demeanor, along with a passion for service and a commitment to excellence. The ideal candidate will have prior Food and Beverage experience, preferably with at least one year in a luxury dining setting. Familiarity with OpenTable reservation software is advantageous. The Host/Hostess must be adept at multitasking, managing time efficiently, and remaining composed under pressure while delivering personalized attention to guests, including recognizing and engaging with regular patrons. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and specific days such as Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays is required, alongside legal eligibility to work in the United States and fluency in English.
Four Seasons offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to nurture employee well-being and professional growth. These include a positive and inclusive workplace environment, extensive training programs, opportunities for advancement, and regular, diverse events celebrating employee communities. This role is not only a chance to be part of an elite hospitality brand but also an opportunity to contribute to a workplace culture that honors the principles of respect, service, and continuous development, making it an enriching career path for motivated individuals looking to thrive in luxury hospitality.
