Located in the vibrant city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, The Notary Hotel stands out as a four and five-star establishment dedicated to delivering exceptional guest services. Marriott International is a leading global hospitality company recognized for its commitment to diversity, inclusion, and providing equal employment opportunities to all individuals regardless of their background. At The Notary Hotel, guests are invited to experience not just a stay, but a journey marked by bold character and personalized service that appeals to "The Individualist" traveler — someone who values distinctive experiences and personal narratives during their travels.

This position is full-time and non-management, based on-site at The Notary Hotel, and offers the rewarding opportunity to work in one of Philadelphia's finest settings. The role is tip eligible, encouraging professionals who enjoy engaging with customers and who thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments. The restaurant server at The Notary Hotel plays a critical role in ensuring that guests enjoy a seamless and memorable dining experience.

As a Restaurant Server, your responsibilities extend far beyond simply taking orders and delivering meals. You become a vital part of the guest experience, creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere where service is both attentive and personalized. Guest Service Experts at The Notary Hotel take initiative by managing a variety of tasks including setting tables, effectively communicating with kitchen and bar staff, fulfilling guest requests, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in their work areas. The role demands physical stamina such as standing, walking, and lifting moderate weights to assist with a smoothly running service.

Additionally, a successful server upholds Marriott’s stringent safety standards by ensuring proper workplace safety and compliance with company policies. Personal presentation is essential, meaning that employees must maintain a professional appearance consistent with the hotel’s esteemed image. The role offers excellent growth opportunities, particularly for those who aspire to develop their careers in hospitality within an international brand known for excellence.

Working at The Notary Hotel means joining a vibrant community that values collaboration and mutual support amongst coworkers. The hotel's alignment with Marriott International’s principles guarantees a fair and inclusive workplace where diversity is celebrated. The Autograph Collection’s ethos of originality and quality ensures that every team member is motivated to deliver exceptional experiences that resonate with individual guests. In this role, you will represent a brand synonymous with innovation, personal touch, and high standards of service that creates loyal customers and memorable moments.

If you are passionate about hospitality, enjoy customer interaction, and want to contribute to an inspiring guest experience, this position offers an exciting and fulfilling career path.
