The Guest Service Associate at Global Partners plays a crucial role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience to every guest who visits the store. This position involves providing outstanding customer service, maintaining store operations, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met consistently. The Guest Service Associate will be responsible for greeting guests warmly, handling point of sale systems accurately, stocking shelves to ensure product availability, and performing various housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and organizing the store environment. This role requires vigilance in monitoring merchandise inventory including gas tanks, tobacco, and lottery products, ensuring they meet corporate standards.

In addition to direct guest interaction, the Guest Service Associate is expected to communicate effectively with store management regarding guest requests, vendor concerns, and internal store processes. Working as part of a team, this position demands flexibility in scheduling to include day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous retail or customer service experience preferred
  • must be able to work flexible hours including day, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • basic computer literacy
  • reliable transportation
  • physical ability to perform tasks including lifting up to 25 lbs and climbing ladders and stairs

  • support GSA new hire employee's onboarding and training

Job Duties

  • Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone
  • adhere to the execution of established safety, security, quality and store operations policies, procedures, and practices
  • operate the point of sale pursuant to corporate standards
  • maintain proper cash, lottery, tobacco levels
  • complete all store housekeeping functions including cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash
  • replenish products and supplies ensuring in-stock conditions at all times
  • communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor-related concerns
  • check in external and internal vendors per established guidelines
  • conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management
  • complete other tasks as assigned by management
