The Guest Service Associate role at Global Partners is essential in delivering an exemplary shopping experience that aligns with the company’s core values of customer care and community engagement. The associate will be responsible for a variety of tasks including greeting guests, ensuring store cleanliness, managing point-of-sale transactions accurately, and supporting inventory replenishment to maintain optimal stock conditions. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior retail or customer service experience preferred
  • must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • reliable transportation
  • physical ability to perform all store duties including lifting up to 25 lbs
  • basic computer literacy
  • good communication skills
  • ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • ability to follow safety and operational procedures
  • ability to interact courteously with guests and vendors

Job Qualifications

  • Must be available to work flexible hours that may include day, nights, weekends, and or holidays
  • ability to perform basic computer functions
  • must have reliable transportation
  • ability to work in intermittent temperatures such as outside, cooler, etc.
  • ability to climb ladders and stairs, reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift or carry up to 25 lbs
  • ability to freely access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area, and register area
  • perform duties of the job in a timely manner
  • ability to count, read and write accurately to complete required paperwork
  • support GSA new hire employee's onboarding and training

Job Duties

  • Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone
  • adhere to the execution of established safety, security, quality and store operations policies, procedures, and practices
  • operate the point of sale pursuant to corporate standards
  • maintain proper cash, lottery, tobacco levels
  • complete all store housekeeping functions including cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash
  • replenish products and supplies ensuring in-stock conditions at all times
  • communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor-related concerns
  • check in external and internal vendors per established guidelines
  • conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management
  • complete other tasks as assigned by management
