Product replenishment is another key function, ensuring that products and supplies are always stocked and readily available to customers. Another important aspect of the Guest Service Associate's responsibilities is effective communication with store management, especially regarding guest requests and vendor-related concerns. They also play a role in conducting gas tank inventory and merchandising projects when assigned by management. The position requires physical ability to work in varying temperatures and to carry out tasks involving climbing, bending, lifting, and reaching. This role is suited for individuals who are reliable, attentive to detail, and able to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. The pay range for this position is $11.00 to $14.00 per hour, with the final salary dependent on experience, skills, and other factors. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Must be available to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to perform basic computer functions
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work in varying temperature conditions
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to follow safety and operational procedures
- Willingness to support team and assist new hires
Job Qualifications
- Must be available to work flexible hours that may include day, nights, weekends, and or holidays
- Ability to perform basic computer functions
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to work in intermittent temperatures, i.e., outside, cooler, etc.
- Ability to climb ladders and stairs, reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift/carry up to 25 lbs
- Ability to freely access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area, and register area
- Perform duties of the job in a timely manner
- You have the ability to count, read and write accurately to complete required paperwork
- Support GSA new hire employee's onboarding and training
Job Duties
- Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone
- Adhere to the execution of established safety, security, quality and store operations policies, procedures, and practices
- Operate the point of sale pursuant to corporate standards and maintain proper cash, lottery, tobacco levels
- Complete all store housekeeping functions including cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, etc.
- Replenish products and supplies ensuring in-stock conditions at all times
- Communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor-related concerns
- Check in external and internal vendors per established guidelines
- Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management
- Complete other tasks as assigned by management
