Job Description

United Dairy Farmers is a well-established convenience store chain known for its commitment to excellent customer service, high-quality products, and a friendly shopping environment. Since its inception, United Dairy Farmers has built a reputation as a trusted community partner providing a wide variety of convenience store items, fresh dairy products, and delicious DipSide treats such as shakes, malts, sundaes, and ice creams. With a focus on delivering the Hi Five Guest Experience, United Dairy Farmers emphasizes guest satisfaction, operational excellence, and safety throughout its stores. The company values honesty, ethics, and compliance with all applicable laws and policies to create a positive environment for both guests and employees.

The Guest Services Associate role at United Dairy Farmers plays a vital part in maintaining the company’s promise of excellent service. This part-time position (25 hours or less per week) offers the opportunity to work flexible shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) with a pay range of $12.50 to $14.50 per hour. The primary responsibility of the Guest Services Associate is to provide outstanding service to every guest by following the five phases of The Hi Five Guest Experience — Invited, Welcomed, Well-Served, Respected, and Fulfilled. This role requires a team member who is attentive, courteous, and proactive in meeting guest needs while ensuring the smooth operation of the store during their shift.

Guest Services Associates are responsible for a variety of tasks that contribute to an enjoyable shopping experience. They prepare DipSide treats such as shakes, malts, ice cream cones, sundaes, and sodas with care and efficiency. Handling point of sale transactions including gas sales, coupons, cash, and credit requires accuracy and attention to detail. Stocking shelves, maintaining freshness and presentation of products including milk boxes and freezers, and ensuring the overall cleanliness and safety of the store and parking lot are essential to the role. Additionally, associates must contribute to loss prevention efforts by being vigilant about potential shoplifting or drive-off incidents and adhere strictly to company policies on Tobacco/Alcohol Management and Robbery/Violence Deterrence.

Safety and maintenance are prioritized, including regular monitoring of refrigeration equipment to ensure product quality and health standards. The role demands honesty, ethical behavior, and compliance with all company and legal guidelines. Associates complete accurate time records and customer-first documentation to support management in maintaining high standards. This dynamic position is perfect for individuals seeking part-time work in a friendly environment with a focus on customer interaction, responsibility, and personal development.

United Dairy Farmers provides an inclusive work environment and is committed to supporting employees as they grow within the company. This role is an excellent entry point for individuals interested in retail, customer service, and food preparation, offering valuable experience in a well-structured and supportive workplace that upholds high standards for guest experience and operational excellence.
