Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English well enough to communicate effectively with customers
- Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment
- Ability to understand and operate store equipment
- Ability to prepare DipSide items using supplies
- Ability to handle various forms of payment and make change accurately
- Ability to perform arithmetic for records
- Ability to move merchandise to displays and shelves
- Ability to clean counters and surfaces
- Ability to tolerate exposure to cold and moderate temperatures
- Ability to lift at least 10 pounds and place packages appropriately
Job Qualifications
- Ability to speak, hear, and understand spoken English to communicate effectively
- Ability to see well enough to operate equipment and check identification
- Ability to understand operating instructions and operate all store equipment
- Ability to prepare DipSide items using supplies in dip cabinets
- Ability to handle money accurately including coins, currency, checks, credit cards, coupons, and food stamps
- Ability to perform arithmetic to complete records
- Ability to move and stock merchandise properly
- Ability to clean counters and surfaces
- Ability to tolerate exposure to temperatures as low as -30 degrees Fahrenheit for at least 2 minutes and as high as 33 degrees Fahrenheit for at least 10 minutes
- Ability to raise at least 10 pounds from floor to 5 feet
- Ability to place a package weighing 21 pounds into a cabinet 3 feet above floor
Job Duties
- Provide the signature UDF Hi Five Guest Experience greeting guests warmly
- prepare DipSide items such as shakes, malts, ice cream, and sundaes
- efficiently operate POS system and gas console handling transactions accurately
- stock and organize merchandise, shelves, freezers, and dip cabinets
- maintain security and minimize theft through vigilance and proper cash control
- ensure store and parking lot cleanliness and safety, monitor equipment temperatures
- complete accurate time records and Customer First Documents
- perform other duties as assigned by management
