The Guest Service Associate I position at Vino Bello Resort encapsulates the spirit of hospitality and outstanding customer service. This full-time role, located centrally in the Napa area, offers a competitive hourly rate of $24.50, with the necessity of flexibility to work weekends and holidays. As a Guest Service Associate, you will be the welcoming face of the resort—responsible for creating a warm, inviting atmosphere from the moment guests arrive until their departure.
In this role, you will perform a variety of tasks that contribute directly to guest satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include greeting guests with a friendly smile, guiding them through the registration process, issuing unit keys, and providing comprehensive information about the resort and the surrounding attractions. You will also handle financial transactions responsibly, adhering to established procedures to ensure accuracy and security in processing cash and credit card payments.
This position requires strong organizational skills to balance cash receipts, perform bucket checks, and complete checkout procedures accurately. You will also handle reservation confirmations and provide guests with up-to-date room rate information. Your ability to respond promptly and effectively to inquiries and concerns will be paramount in enhancing the overall guest experience.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred
- Must be flexible to work weekends and holidays
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Basic proficiency in computer operations
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask under pressure

Job Duties
- Bring smiles to guests from around the world by providing warm welcomes
- Guide guests through the registration process, issue unit keys, and provide information about the resort and area attractions
- Process cash and credit card transactions strictly following established procedures
- Balance cash receipts, perform bucket checks, and complete other cashier/money handling responsibilities
- Complete all check-out procedures and verify that the correct charges and credits are reflected in guest folios
- Reserve and confirm reservations for individuals and/or groups
- Provide guests with room rate quotes
- Respond to guest inquiries and concerns as quickly and completely as possible
