The Guest Service Associate role at Global Partners is integral to delivering outstanding customer experiences within their stores. This position is designed for individuals dedicated to maintaining a welcoming atmosphere by greeting guests, assisting with their needs, and ensuring smooth store operations. The Guest Service Associate is responsible for adhering to corporate policies emphasizing safety, security, quality, and operational efficiency. They operate the point of sale in alignment with company standards, managing cash and inventory items like lottery tickets and tobacco products securely and accurately. Additionally, they undertake essential housekeeping duties such as cleaning, dusting, sweeping, and trash disposal to maintain a clean and inviting store environment. The role involves restocking merchandise to ensure the store remains well supplied and communicates effectively with store management regarding guest requests or vendor concerns. Vendors, both external and internal, are checked in following established procedures, and the Associate participates in inventory counts and merchandising initiatives as assigned.
This position requires candidates who are flexible with their availability, willing to work varying shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Physical duties such as climbing ladders, bending, lifting up to 25 pounds, and working in different temperature environments are part of the daily responsibilities. The Guest Service Associate must possess basic computer skills, reliable transportation, and the ability to read, write, and perform basic calculations to complete necessary documentation accurately. Supporting the onboarding and training of new hires is also included, reflecting the role's collaborative nature within the team. The pay range for this position is competitive, between $11.77 and $14.98 per hour, with the final offer based on experience, skills, and geographic location.

- support GSA new hire employee onboarding and training
Job Duties
- Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone
- adhere to the execution of established safety, security, quality and store operations policies, procedures, and practices
- operate the point of sale pursuant to corporate standards
- maintain proper cash, lottery, tobacco levels
- complete all store housekeeping functions such as cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash
- replenish products and supplies ensuring in-stock conditions at all times
- communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor-related concerns
- check in external and internal vendors per established guidelines
- conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management
- complete other tasks as assigned by management
