The Guest Service Ambassador role at KC Current is much more than just a job—it embodies the spirit and culture of the organization. As an integral part of the team, these ambassadors serve as the face of the club during major events at CPKC Stadium and the Training Facility, ensuring that every visitor enjoys a memorable and positive experience. Whether welcoming fans with warmth, assisting with seating, providing directions, or resolving issues, Guest Service Ambassadors contribute significantly to the organization's mission of hospitality and excellence. This part-time event-based position offers flexibility with hours ranging from 0 to 29 per week, depending on the schedule of events, games, and other stadium activities. Eligible candidates should be enthusiastic, energetic, and passionate about serving others, embracing the opportunity to build relationships and foster a welcoming environment. Guest Service Ambassadors play a vital role in maintaining safety, enforcing access control, and delivering exceptional guest services, all while embodying KC Current’s core values and culture. Job Requirements
- Must be available for approximately 80% of all major events at CPKC Stadium including Kansas City Current matches and other events
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and weekdays, typically during evening hours
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Attendance at required in-person training sessions prior to employment
- Willingness to submit to a background check as a condition of employment
- Ability to stand, walk, and travel up and down stairs throughout entire event duration
- Flexibility to perform additional duties as assigned by supervision
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in customer service or guest relations is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and foster inclusive environment

Job Duties
- Serve as seating host by greeting guests, provide directional information, control access, check tickets, and resolve guest issues
- Act as premium seating host in clubs and suites by welcoming guests, controlling access, answering questions, and ensuring guest safety
- Operate as gate and guest service host by assisting with ticket scanning, troubleshooting entry challenges, offering wheelchair assistance, and managing the guest service center
- Execute moments of surprise and delight for guests throughout the stadium to enhance guest experience
- Collaborate with other teams and deploy to various positions as needed during events
- Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all attendees
- Uphold KC Current's core values and promote a positive team culture
