Job Description
The Waterfront Beach Resort, a Hilton Hotel, is a distinguished hospitality establishment situated on the shores of the Pacific Ocean. Known for over 30 years of excellence in hospitality, the resort offers guests an exceptional experience marked by personalized service and outstanding amenities. The resort embraces a "family-like" work environment with a commitment to professional development and a company culture that values teamwork encapsulated in its motto, "One Team, One Dream." Located in a scenic area, the resort not only provides guests with beautiful views and accommodations but also promotes a supportive workplace where employees can enjoy an optimal work-life balance and opportunities for career growth. The Waterfront Beach Resort is a vibrant community that distinctly values charisma, personality, integrity, and camaraderie among its team members, ensuring everyone works together to create memorable experiences for guests while also nurturing a fulfilling career for the staff.
The role of Front Desk Agent at The Waterfront Beach Resort is pivotal in maintaining the high standards of guest service for which the resort is renowned. This is a full-time position that centers on ensuring guest satisfaction through efficient check-in and check-out processes, expert handling of billing and payment transactions including credit card and cash calculations, and welcoming guests with a warm and helpful attitude. The Front Desk Agent serves as the first point of contact for guests, addressing inquiries related to the resort’s services, directions to rooms, and local attractions, thereby enhancing the overall guest experience.
The ideal candidate is expected to effectively manage guest complaints by conducting thorough research to develop appropriate solutions, negotiating results diplomatically, and remaining composed during high-pressure situations such as emergencies or busy periods. Beyond guest interaction, the Front Desk Agent also contributes to the maintenance of the appearance and organization of the resort lobby, including tasks like trash removal and furniture arrangement, supporting the resort's inviting and pristine atmosphere. This role demands professionalism in phone etiquette and written communication, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
Candidates with bilingual skills, especially English-Spanish proficiency, will find themselves highly sought after for this position as it adds considerable value in communicating with a diverse guest population. The position provides a unique opportunity to advance hospitality skills within a leading hotel property, supported by ongoing training, development, and the chance to work alongside passionate professionals dedicated to hospitality excellence. The Waterfront Beach Resort offers a competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance options, a 401(k) retirement plan with company match, paid holidays and vacation time, employee meal and parking benefits, and access to the Go Hilton team member travel program.
Joining The Waterfront Beach Resort means becoming part of a dynamic and nurturing team that strives not only to deliver exceptional guest experiences but also to invest meaningfully in the success and happiness of its employees. For those passionate about a career in hospitality and keen on being part of a welcoming and growth-oriented environment, this is a rewarding and exciting opportunity.
