The position being offered is at Caesars Entertainment’s portfolio property in Council Bluffs, which includes Harrah’s Council Bluffs, Horseshoe Council Bluffs, the Mid-America Center, and the Hilton Garden Inn. These venues serve the Council Bluffs metropolitan area by providing an exceptional gaming experience, comfortable hotel accommodations with diverse amenities, and versatile meeting and entertainment spaces suitable for a range of events. To support these outstanding services, Caesars is seeking energetic and customer-focused individuals for front desk roles who can embody the company’s mission and values in every guest interaction.
The Front Desk Agent role is pivotal in shaping the guest experience from arrival to departure. Responsibilities include welcoming guests, checking them in and out efficiently, managing reservations, handling cash transactions accurately, and addressing guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and a warm demeanor. This role requires applicants to communicate clearly in English, function effectively in a dynamic and sometimes noisy environment, and use computer systems confidently for monitoring guest information and processing transactions. The position demands a high level of attentiveness, hospitality, and the ability to navigate confined spaces while standing for extended periods.
Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer knowledge, and prior front desk or customer service experience, which is preferred but not mandatory. The role involves exposure to environmental factors such as dust, noise, secondhand smoke, temperature variations, and crowds, so adaptability to these conditions is necessary. - Must be able to work in areas containing dust, second hand smoke, varying noise and temperature levels, lighting, vibration, crowds and air quality
- Previous computer and front desk experience preferred
