Job Description
Hilton is a globally renowned hospitality company celebrated for delivering exceptional experiences to guests through its world-class hotels and resorts. Founded on a vision to fill the earth with the light and warmth of hospitality, Hilton has welcomed over 3 billion guests worldwide, continually setting new standards for the future of travel. The company operates a diverse portfolio of brands committed to providing outstanding service and memorable stays for every guest. Hilton has built an award-winning workplace culture, earning repeated recognition on the World's Best Workplaces list by Great Place to Work and Fortune. It values a work environment where team members are supported, inspired, and empowered to grow their careers while making meaningful impacts in guest experiences.
The Guest Service Agent role at Hilton is a critical front-line position where exceptional hospitality starts with the individual. This role goes beyond merely ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out process. As a Guest Service Agent, you become an ambassador of warmth and hospitality, creating memorable experiences that brighten every guest's stay. Your responsibilities include welcoming guests with genuine warmth, guiding them through check-in procedures such as verifying details, assigning rooms, issuing keys, and offering assistance with bell services. You also support efficient guest check-out by accurately processing payments, verifying charges, and managing receipts using point-of-sale systems.
Providing comprehensive hotel and local knowledge to support guest inquiries is a vital part of the position. Agents share information on hotel offerings, room types, rates, current promotions, and local attractions. Additionally, promoting hotel services through thoughtful up-selling techniques enables you to maximize room and service revenue while enhancing the guest experience. Meeting guest needs attentively by responding to requests and resolving concerns promptly demonstrates a commitment to service excellence.
Hilton encourages its team members to embody its core values: hospitality, integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership, and a focus on the present moment. These values shape the kind of team member who thrives in this dynamic hospitality environment. Working at Hilton means joining a company that invests wholeheartedly in employee wellbeing, offering unmatched perks, benefits, and support. From deeply discounted travel opportunities to mental health resources, paid parental leave, caregiving support, and financial security programs, Hilton is dedicated to helping its team members flourish personally and professionally.
This is a full-time role where you can expect a supportive environment designed to nurture your development as a hospitality professional. Hilton’s commitment to providing an exceptional workplace extends well beyond the guest experience and highlights their dedication to team members as well. Whether you are launching your career or seeking a new opportunity within an award-winning company, Hilton invites you to join their team and help create magical stays for every guest.
