Job Description

The Conrad Hotel, located in the vibrant heart of urban Washington, DC, is a stylish and sophisticated Forbes 4-Star property that sets a new standard of luxury in the city. With 360 elegant rooms, an expansive 32,000 square feet of banquet space, and an impressive range of five food and beverage outlets, the Conrad offers a truly immersive hospitality experience. These dining options include a signature restaurant, a rooftop bar with stunning views, a lobby bar, an exclusive club lounge, and in-room dining that caters to the varied tastes and preferences of its diverse clientele. Guests at the Conrad can expect a luxurious stay where every detail is thoughtfully crafted to provide comfort, style, and exceptional service.

As a Guest Service Agent at Conrad Hotel, you will play a pivotal role in delivering an outstanding and memorable guest experience. This position is not just about managing administrative tasks related to guest arrivals and departures; it is about embodying the spirit of hospitality that Conrad represents. Your daily responsibilities will include warmly welcoming guests upon arrival, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in process by verifying information, assigning rooms, issuing keys, and assisting with any initial guest needs such as bell service. You will also handle the check-out process with precision, verifying charges, processing payments, and providing receipts while making guests feel valued until their departure.

Beyond the transactional activities, the Guest Service Agent serves as an ambassador of the hotel’s brand and amenities. Providing expert knowledge about the hotel’s offerings, room types, rates, promotions, and local attractions is crucial to assist guests in making the most of their stay. Your role involves actively promoting hotel services by utilizing upselling techniques to enhance the guest experience and maximize hotel revenue. In addition, you will be the first point of contact for guest requests and concerns, addressing these issues with care, efficiency, and urgency, ensuring that every guest feels attended to and appreciated.

Working at Hilton, the parent company of Conrad Hotel, means joining a community committed to exceptional hospitality and a culture of integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership, and responsiveness. Hilton invests significantly in the wellbeing of its team members, offering exceptional benefits such as medical insurance for you and your family, paid parental leave, counseling and mental health resources, various financial security programs including an employee stock purchase plan, and generous paid time off. Moreover, as part of Hilton’s team, you benefit from travel discounts with access to rooms at world-class hotels for as low as $40 a night.

Joining the Conrad as a Guest Service Agent offers not only the chance to work in a luxurious, world-class hotel but also to be part of an award-winning workplace culture recognized among the world's best workplaces by Great Place to Work and Fortune. This is a career opportunity where you can grow, develop professionally, and make every guest stay a little more magical.
