The role of Guest Service Agent at Hilton is a pivotal position that goes beyond the standard duties of front desk operations. This role involves being the first and lasting point of contact for guests, ensuring they receive a warm and seamless check-in and check-out experience. Guest Service Agents are expected to deliver personalized service by greeting guests with genuine warmth, verifying reservation details, assigning rooms, issuing keys, and providing helpful information about the hotel's amenities and local area. They also assist with bell service when needed. On the check-out side, agents accurately process departures, handle payments, verify charges, and manage point-of-sale transactions efficiently. Additionally, Guest Service Agents act as ambassadors for Hilton by promoting hotel services and amenities through appropriate up-selling techniques to maximize revenue and enhance the guest experience.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Proficiency with point-of-sale systems
  • Availability to work flexible shifts including evenings weekends and holidays
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure

Job Duties

  • Deliver a warm welcome by greeting guests upon arrival and completing the check-in process including verifying details assigning rooms issuing keys and providing welcome materials or bell service assistance
  • Support efficient check-out by processing guest departures verifying charges handling payments issuing receipts and using the point-of-sale system accurately
  • Provide hotel and local knowledge by demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of hotel offerings room types rates promotions and local area information to assist with guest inquiries
  • Promote hotel services using up-selling techniques to recommend hotel amenities and maximize room and service revenue
  • Delight our guests by responding to guest requests resolving concerns with care and urgency and effectively managing messages and communications
