This position involves handling reservations and payment processes, managing guest communications via our Property Management System (PMS), and addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally.

In addition to these duties, the agent will handle financial transactions such as invoicing and payments, support security by safeguarding guests’ valuables, and collaborate with other departments during peak times to enhance guest satisfaction. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous customer service experience or equivalent training required
- Knowledge of PMS systems preferred
- Ability to work varied shifts including holidays, weekends, and alternate shifts
- Ability to stand for long periods, walk, push, lift up to 25 pounds, bend, reach, kneel or squat
Job Qualifications

- Knowledge of PMS systems preferred
Job Duties
- Greet guests promptly and offer assistance with their needs
- Register guests and assign rooms
- Establish payment methods and verify credit
- Make and confirm reservations
- Calculate bills, collect payments, and give change to guests
- Transmit and receive messages using telephones or the PMS system
- Respond to guest requests in a timely manner
- Receive and resolve guest complaints, escalating to supervisor if necessary
- Secure guests' valuables in the hotel safe or safety deposit boxes if not available in guest rooms
- Perform accounting activities such as balancing accounts and conducting audits
- Monitor guest satisfaction scores and work to improve overall and departmental guest satisfaction
- Practice safe work habits, use protective safety equipment, and follow MSDS and OSHA standards
- Assist in the breakfast area or help guests with luggage during peak periods or when staff assistance is needed
- Ensure the overall satisfaction of the guest
- Perform other tasks as requested by management
