We are currently looking for a Front Desk Agent who will serve as the first point of contact for our guests, welcoming and assisting them in a friendly and courteous manner that reflects both our hotel brand and sustainability ethos. This role is instrumental in managing guest interactions, ensuring seamless room assignments, processing payments, handling reservations, and responding promptly to guest needs and complaints. The position offers a clear growth path, with opportunities to advance to Front Desk Supervisor or Sales Coordinator, and eventually to Front Office Manager or Sales Manager roles based on performance and professional development.

The Front Desk Agent will be responsible for greeting guests immediately upon arrival, registering and assigning rooms, establishing secure payment methods, and confirming reservations efficiently. Additionally, this role includes computing bills, receiving and resolving guest complaints, securing valuables, performing bookkeeping duties such as auditing accounts, and maintaining awareness of guest satisfaction scores with a goal of boosting departmental performance. In alignment with our sustainability values, the agent will participate in the EarthView program's initiatives, practicing eco-friendly habits and adhering to safety standards including MSDS and OSHA requirements. This role occasionally requires assisting in breakfast service or helping guests with their luggage during high-demand periods.

Ideal candidates for this position have a high school diploma or equivalent and bring prior customer service experience or specialized training. Familiarity with Property Management Systems (PMS) enhances the ability to perform tasks efficiently. The work environment demands flexibility with scheduling, including working holidays, weekends, and varying shifts, as well as the physical capacity to stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform various motions such as bending and kneeling.
