Job Description

HHM Hotels is a reputable hospitality company dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences across its portfolio of hotels. With a strong commitment to service excellence, HHM Hotels prides itself on maintaining high standards that align with both brand expectations and sustainability practices. The company values its employees and fosters a supportive and inclusive work environment which encourages professional growth and development. HHM Hotels is known for its vibrant company culture that emphasizes teamwork, excellence, and responsiveness to guest needs, making it a preferred employer in the hospitality industry.

The Front Desk Agent role at HHM Hotels is pivotal in ensuring a positive first impression and seamless guest experience. As the face of the hotel, the Front Desk Agent is responsible for greeting guests warmly and courteously, registering and assigning rooms according to availability and guest preferences, and verifying payment methods. This position requires skilled communication, attention to detail, and the ability to handle a range of guest needs efficiently. Beyond front desk duties, the role may involve assisting in the breakfast area during peak times, managing luggage assistance, and securing guests' valuables.

An essential part of the role includes managing guest accounts, computing bills, processing payments, and maintaining accurate bookkeeping through audits and account balancing. The Front Desk Agent must also respond promptly to guest requests, resolve complaints as necessary, and contribute to elevated guest satisfaction scores by ensuring overall service excellence. Compliance with safety standards such as MSDS and OSHA, and promoting safe work habits, is also integral to this position.

HHM Hotels offers career advancement opportunities, indicating a clear growth path from Front Desk Agent to supervisory positions such as Front Desk Supervisor or Sales Coordinator, and potentially advancing to Front Office Manager or Sales Manager roles. This shows the company’s commitment to nurturing talent and providing developmental pathways within the hospitality sector.

The work environment is dynamic and requires flexibility with working hours, including holidays, weekends, and alternate shifts. Physical requirements include standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, and other activities that demand physical stamina. The company is committed to supporting its workforce through comprehensive benefits and a positive workplace culture that reflects its values: People Are Our Capability, Hearts That Serve, Only Excellence, Stay Nimble, and Own It. Overall, the Front Desk Agent position at HHM Hotels offers a rewarding opportunity to engage directly with guests, contribute to operational success, and grow professionally in a respected hospitality group.
