This position is offered by a hotel seeking a dedicated and personable Guest Service Agent/Front Desk Agent to serve as the welcoming face of the property. The role of Guest Service Agent/Front Desk Agent is pivotal for the smooth operation of the hotel, responsible for assisting guests during the check-in and check-out processes, managing reservations, and promptly addressing any inquiries or concerns to ensure guest satisfaction. Beyond administrative duties, the Guest Service Agent ensures common areas such as the lobby and breakfast area are clean and well-maintained, replenishes continental breakfast as needed, and may assist in light laundry duties. This role also involves coordination with the General Manager to support sales and marketing efforts, demonstrating the importance of collaboration and teamwork in the hotel environment. The Guest Service Agent must be organized and attentive to detail, maintaining precise records including cash flows, registration cards, reservation cards, and documenting pertinent guest information in logs.
