The role available at Drury Plaza Hotel is a front desk and guest service position for a 3PM-11PM shift, ideal for individuals who are customer-focused and enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The primary responsibility of this role is to serve as the welcoming face of the hotel, ensuring that every guest encounter is warm, friendly, and professional. This position goes beyond traditional front desk duties, involving assistance with breakfast and evening Kickback service, which includes food preparation, setup, guest service as either a host or bartender, and cleanup. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Ability to work the 3PM-11PM shift
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic proficiency in cash handling and using office equipment
- Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work independently
Job Qualifications
- Warm and friendly manner in relating to and interacting with the public
- Demonstrated attention to detail while handling multiple tasks simultaneously
- Familiarity with handling money, making change, and using office machines in day-to-day activities
- Ability to speak and receive written and verbal directions in English
- Willingness and ability to work alone as scheduled
Job Duties
- Assist guests in a friendly, efficient, courteous, and professional manner
- Perform front desk related functions, including checking guests in and out, promoting company programs, maintaining guest records, handling cash, monitoring guest satisfaction, and resolving problems
- Assist with breakfast and 5:30 p.m. Kickback service, including food preparation, setup, guest service as host or bartender, and cleanup
- Present and maintain a high standard of integrity, service, and hospitality to promote the Drury culture to customers and co-workers
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences by providing courteous, friendly guest service with a plus one service attitude
