The role involves serving as the welcoming and helpful face of the hotel, ensuring guests receive exceptional service from arrival to departure. Responsibilities include assisting guests with check-in and check-out, managing cash handling, maintaining guest records, promoting company programs, and resolving any issues to enhance guest satisfaction. The position also supports breakfast and evening Kickback services, which may include food preparation, set up, guest hosting, bartending, and clean-up duties. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail
- Proficiency in basic cash handling and office equipment operation
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Job Qualifications
- Warm and friendly manner when relating to and interacting with the public
- Demonstrated attention to detail while handling multiple tasks simultaneously
- Familiarity with handling money, making change, and using office machines in day-to-day activities
- Ability to speak and receive direction in English
- Willingness and ability to work alone as scheduled
Job Duties
- Serve as the welcoming face of the hotel to guests entering and departing
- Assist guests in a friendly, efficient, courteous, and professional manner
- Perform front desk functions including check-in and check-out, promoting company programs, maintaining guest records, cash handling, monitoring guest satisfaction, and problem resolution
- Assist with breakfast and 5:30 p.m. Kickback service, including food preparation, set up, guest service (host or bartender), and clean-up
- Present and maintain a high standard of integrity, service, and hospitality to promote the Drury culture
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences by providing courteous, friendly service with a +1 service attitude
