The role offered is an exciting opportunity to join the front-line team as a Front Desk Associate. This position is vital to creating positive first impressions and fostering memorable experiences for guests from the moment they enter the hotel. The successful candidate will serve as the friendly, helpful face of the hotel, delivering exceptional service with a warm and professional demeanor. Key responsibilities include assisting guests efficiently and courteously, managing front desk operations such as check-ins, check-outs, cash handling, maintaining guest records, and resolving issues to ensure guest satisfaction. The associate will also support breakfast and evening Kickback service by helping with food preparation, setup, guest interaction, and cleanup duties.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with front desk software
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and securely

Job Qualifications

  • Warm and friendly manner in relating to and interacting with the public
  • Demonstrated attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Familiarity with handling money, making change, and using office machines
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal directions in English
  • Strong communication and multitasking skills
  • Willingness and ability to work independently as scheduled

Job Duties

  • Assist guests in a friendly, efficient, courteous, and professional manner
  • Perform front desk related functions including check-ins and check-outs, promoting company programs, maintaining guest records, cash handling, monitoring guest satisfaction, and problem resolution
  • Assist with breakfast and 5:30 p.m. Kickback service including food preparation, setup, guest service, and cleanup
  • Present and maintain high standards of integrity, service, and hospitality to promote the Drury culture
  • Ensure an exceptional guest experience by providing courteous and friendly guest service with a +1 Service attitude
