This role is a part-time, non-management position within the Rooms and Guest Services Operations category, offering an hourly pay range between $28.67 and $35.84. The position requires full availability with on-call expectations, emphasizing flexibility and commitment. The role focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences starting from the moment guests arrive to the moment they depart. You will be responsible for organizing, confirming, and processing guest check-in and check-out, ensuring all billing and payment transactions are accurate, and providing guests with valuable information about the hotel amenities and local points of interest. Maintaining a pristine lobby and offering a warm welcome pivotal to the JW Marriott standard service model is central to this position.

The position requires handling daily reports, managing cash accurately at the end of each shift, taking wake-up calls, and effectively communicating any emergencies or lost and found items to the appropriate authorities or team members. Job Requirements

  • Prior guest service experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Attention to detail
  • Reliable availability
  • Ability to stand, sit or walk for prolonged periods
  • Capability to move objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance
  • Willingness to perform reasonable tasks as requested by supervisors

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Organize, confirm and process guest check-in and check-out adapting to changes
  • Ensure payments by verifying and adjusting billing as necessary
  • Provide guests with room information, hotel amenities, directions, and local points of interest
  • Prepare daily reports and communicate relevant information to the next shift
  • Complete cashier and closing reports and reconcile cash accurately at shift end
  • Accept and record wake-up calls and notify the appropriate department
  • Communicate emergencies, lost items or theft cases to authorities or security
  • Maintain contingency lists for emergencies and relay necessary messages
