The Guest Service Agent role at HHM Hotels is integral to maintaining the outstanding service reputation that the company upholds. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous customer service experience required
  • Knowledge of PMS systems preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical activities such as walking, pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching
  • Availability to work varied schedules including holidays, weekends, and alternate shifts

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous customer service experience or equivalent training required
  • Knowledge of PMS systems preferred
  • Ability to handle guest complaints professionally
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to follow safety standards including MSDS and OSHA guidelines

Job Duties

  • Greet guests immediately and offer assistance
  • Register and assign guests to hotel rooms
  • Establish methods of payment and verify credit
  • Make and confirm reservations
  • Compute bills, collect payments, and make change for guests
  • Transmit and receive messages using telephones or PMS system
  • Respond to guest requests promptly
  • Receive and resolve guest complaints, escalating to supervisor if necessary
  • Secure guests' valuables in hotel safes or safe-deposit boxes
  • Perform bookkeeping activities including balancing accounts and conducting audits
  • Assist in breakfast area or with guest luggage during peak periods
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction
  • Perform other duties as requested by management
