The Front Desk Agent is a vital role within A & R Hospitality Group's hotels, serving as the first point of contact for guests and embodying the company’s commitment to outstanding customer service. This position requires a professional and welcoming demeanor while performing a variety of duties related to guest check-in and check-out processes, reservation management, and customer support. The Front Desk Agent is responsible for greeting guests promptly and courteously, efficiently managing reservations for both same-day arrivals and future bookings, answering incoming telephone calls, and responding to guest inquiries and requests with a helpful attitude. This role demands a strong focus on guest satisfaction and the ability to resolve complaints quickly and effectively, ensuring each guest enjoys a comfortable and memorable stay.

Front Desk Agents are also expected to maintain cleanliness and order in their workspace, anticipate guest needs, and collaborate with other hotel departments when necessary to enhance the overall guest experience. Confidentiality and security of guest and company information are priorities in this role, requiring strict adherence to privacy protocols. Job Duties

  • Always maintain a professional appearance
  • register all incoming guests and ensure all pertinent information is obtained
  • assist in other departments as needed
  • address and resolve guest complaints in a timely manner
  • block incoming reservations based on guest requests and room availability
  • block arriving reservations of all groups
  • maintain cleanliness of the back office and front desk area
  • anticipate guest needs to have superior guest service
  • maintain confidentiality and security of proprietary company information and guest information
