Job Description

HHM Hotels is a renowned hospitality company committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences across its network of hotels and resorts. Known for its strong emphasis on quality service, customer satisfaction, and sustainability, HHM Hotels strives to provide welcoming environments where guests feel valued and cared for. Catering to a diverse clientele, HHM Hotels has established itself as a leader in the hospitality industry by seamlessly blending traditional hotel virtues with innovative practices designed to enhance comfort and convenience.

This opportunity is for the position of a Front Desk Associate, a critical role within HHM Hotels that directly impacts guest satisfaction and operational flow. Positioned at the front line of guest interaction, the Front Desk Associate is responsible for welcoming guests with warmth and professionalism, registering them efficiently, and ensuring all processes are executed according to the company’s brand and sustainability standards. The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $18.00 and provides an excellent platform for career growth within the hospitality industry. Employees in this role can anticipate advancement to supervisory and management positions such as Front Desk Supervisor, Sales Coordinator, Front Office Manager, or Sales Manager, aligning with HHM Hotels' commitment to internal career development.

The Front Desk Associate’s daily responsibilities include greeting guests immediately upon arrival, assisting with their individual needs, managing room assignments, confirming methods of payment, and ensuring the accuracy of all billing procedures. This role also involves operating property management systems (PMS) to handle reservations and communications efficiently. Beyond transactional duties, the associate is charged with responding promptly to guest requests, resolving complaints when necessary, and maintaining the security of guest valuables. The associate helps foster a positive guest experience by practicing safe work habits and adhering to occupational safety standards, and may occasionally support additional hotel operations such as breakfast service or luggage assistance during peak periods.

HHM Hotels places a strong focus on creating a work environment that supports employee well-being and professional growth. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, paid time off, 401(k) matching, and employee wellness programs, as well as unique perks like travel discounts and daily pay options. Working schedules are flexible but may include holidays, weekends, and alternate shifts, reflecting the dynamic nature of the hospitality field. Physical demands of the job may involve standing for extended periods, walking, lifting weights up to 25 pounds, and other activities necessitated by the hospitality environment.

In summary, this role is well-suited for individuals who are passionate about hospitality, thrive in fast-paced settings, and are eager to contribute to a company that values service excellence and sustainability. HHM Hotels not only seeks to provide excellent guest service but also embraces the development and career advancement of its team members, fostering a culture where people are at the heart of the business, service comes from the heart, and excellence is the standard. Employees are encouraged to stay agile and take ownership of their roles, aligning with HHM Hotels’ core values: People Are Our Capability, Hearts That Serve, Only Excellence, Stay Nimble, and Own It.
