Drury Hotels Chattanooga, located at 7301 Shallowford Rd, Chattanooga, Tennessee, is currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join their team as Front Desk Associates. This position is crucial in ensuring that guests receive a warm welcome and a memorable stay. The Front Desk Associate role is designed for those who thrive in a dynamic environment and enjoy direct interaction with guests, contributing to an atmosphere of hospitality and professionalism. This role offers not only the typical responsibilities of a front desk position but also unique opportunities to engage in additional guest service activities such as assisting with breakfast service and the 5:30 p.m. Kickback, providing an all-around guest experience.

In this role, associates are expected to assist guests courteously and efficiently by performing front desk duties including check-in and check-out procedures, handling cash transactions, maintaining guest records, and resolving guest issues promptly. Additionally, associates support food service activities by helping prepare, serve, and clean up during breakfast and evening Kickback hours, offering guests an inviting and enjoyable dining experience. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
  • basic knowledge of cash handling and front desk operations
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to multitask effectively
  • dependable and punctual
  • ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • Warm and friendly manner in relating to and interacting with the public
  • demonstrated attention to detail while handling multiple tasks simultaneously
  • familiarity with handling money, making change, and using office machines in day-to-day activities
  • ability to speak and receive written and verbal direction in English
  • willingness and ability to work alone as scheduled

Job Duties

  • Assist guests in a friendly, efficient, courteous, and professional manner
  • perform front desk related functions including checking guests in and out, promoting company programs, maintaining guest records, cash handling, monitoring guest satisfaction, and problem resolution
  • assist with breakfast and 5:30 p.m. Kickback service including food preparation, set up, guest service as host or bartender, and clean-up
  • present and maintain a high standard of integrity, service, and hospitality to promote the Drury culture
  • ensure an exceptional guest experience by providing courteous, friendly guest service with a +1 service attitude
