This position is for a Front Desk Associate at HHM Hotels, offering an hourly wage of $21.57. This role is pivotal in shaping the guest experience, as it involves direct interaction with guests from their arrival through their stay. The Front Desk Associate serves as the face of the hotel, ensuring each guest feels welcomed and attended to with a friendly and courteous approach aligned with the hotel and brand standards.
The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting guests promptly, registering and assigning rooms, verifying payments, handling reservations, and managing guest communications. They will also be tasked with performing bookkeeping functions such as balancing accounts and conducting audits. - Previous customer service experience or equivalent training required
- Knowledge of PMS systems preferred

Job Duties
- Greet guests and offer assistance immediately
- Register and assign guests to hotel rooms
- Establish methods of payment and verify credit
- Make and confirm reservations
- Compute bills, collect payments, and make change for guests
- Transmit and receive messages using telephones or the PMS system
- Respond to guest requests in a timely manner
- Receive and resolve guest complaints, escalating to supervisor if necessary
- Secure guests' valuables in hotel safe or safe-deposit boxes
- Perform bookkeeping activities including balancing accounts and conducting audits
- Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing satisfaction
- Practice safe work habits and follow MSDS and OSHA standards
- Assist in the breakfast area or with guest luggage during peak periods
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction
- Perform other duties as requested by management
