The Front Desk Agent role at Drury Hotels represents an exciting opportunity for individuals who are enthusiastic about hospitality and eager to contribute to a welcoming atmosphere. As the first point of contact, you will serve as the cheerful and helpful face of the hotel, greeting guests as they arrive and ensuring their departure is smooth and accommodating. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- Availability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
Job Qualifications
- Warm and friendly manner in relating to and interacting with the public
- Demonstrated attention to detail while handling multiple tasks simultaneously
- Familiarity with handling money, making change, and using office machines in day-to-day activities
- Ability to speak and receive direction both written and verbal in English
- Willingness and ability to work alone as scheduled
Job Duties
- Assist guests in a friendly, efficient, courteous, and professional manner
- Perform front desk related functions including checking guests in and out, promoting company programs, maintaining guest records, cash handling, monitoring guest satisfaction, and problem resolution
- Assist with breakfast and 5:30 p.m. Kickback service, including food preparation, set up, guest service as host or bartender, and clean-up
- Present and maintain a high standard of integrity, service, and hospitality to promote the Drury culture to customers and co-workers
- Ensure an exceptional guest experience by providing courteous, friendly, guest service with a plus 1 service attitude
