The Front Desk Associate role at Drury Hotels is a pivotal position serving as the welcoming face of the hotel to all guests. Employees in this role are responsible for delivering outstanding customer service that consistently exceeds guest expectations. This position offers a competitive hourly wage starting at $15, with opportunities to earn quarterly bonuses of up to $3,200 annually, separate from the base salary. The Front Desk Associate’s duties include managing check-ins and check-outs, handling cash transactions, maintaining guest records, and promoting company programs that enhance guest experiences. They also assist in food service during breakfast and evening Kickback offerings, including food preparation and guest interactions as hosts or bartenders. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service
  • Basic cash handling skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to multitask effectively
  • Availability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • Warm and friendly manner in relating to and interacting with the public
  • Demonstrated attention to detail while handling multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Familiarity with handling money, making change, and using office machines in day-to-day activities
  • Ability to speak and receive written and verbal direction in English
  • Willingness and ability to work alone as scheduled

Job Duties

  • Assist guests in a friendly, efficient, courteous, and professional manner
  • Perform front desk related functions including checking guests in and out, promoting company programs, maintaining guest records, cash handling, monitoring guest satisfaction, and problem resolution
  • Assist with breakfast and 5:30 p.m. Kickback service, including food preparation, setup, guest service, and clean-up
  • Present and maintain a high standard of integrity, service, and hospitality to promote the Drury culture to customers and co-workers
  • Ensure an exceptional guest experience by providing courteous, friendly guest service with a +1 Service attitude
