This particular role is a Front Desk Associate position at the St. Louis property, specializing in delivering outstanding customer service as the first point of contact for guests arriving or departing from the hotel. The Front Desk Associate represents the warm and welcoming face of Drury Hotels, ensuring that every guest interaction is memorable and positive. The position involves a combination of front desk duties such as checking guests in and out, maintaining accurate guest records, handling cash transactions, promoting hotel programs, and resolving any guest issues with professionalism and a positive attitude.

Additionally, the role extends to support during the hotel's complimentary breakfast service and the evening Kickback® event at 5:30 p.m., where team members may assist with food preparation, setup, guest service roles including hosting or bartending, and cleanup. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
  • Basic math skills and cash handling experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
  • Availability for flexible scheduling including mornings, evenings, and weekends
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision

Job Qualifications

  • Warm and friendly manner in relating to and interacting with the public
  • Demonstrated attention to detail while handling multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Familiarity with handling money, making change, and using office machines in day-to-day activities
  • Ability to speak and receive direction (written and verbal) in English
  • Willingness and ability to work alone as scheduled

Job Duties

  • Assist guests in a friendly, efficient, courteous, and professional manner
  • Perform front desk-related functions including checking guests in and out, promoting company programs, maintaining guest records, cash handling, monitoring guest satisfaction, and resolving problems
  • Assist with breakfast and 5:30 p.m. Kickback service including food preparation, set up, guest service (host or bartender), and clean-up
  • Present and maintain a high standard of integrity, service, and hospitality to promote the Drury culture to customers and co-workers
  • Ensure an exceptional guest experience by providing courteous, friendly service with a plus one service attitude
