The Front Desk Associate will serve as the welcoming face of the hotel, greeting guests as they enter and depart while ensuring a remarkable guest experience with a positive and friendly approach. Duties include checking guests in and out, handling guest records and cash transactions, promoting company programs, and monitoring guest satisfaction while resolving any issues promptly. The role also involves supporting breakfast and evening Kickback service, which may encompass food preparation, setup, guest hosting or bartending, and clean-up.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
  • Basic cash handling skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
  • Effective communication skills in English
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team

Job Qualifications

  • Warm and friendly manner in relating to and interacting with the public
  • Demonstrated attention to detail while handling multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Familiarity with handling money, making change, and using office machines in day-to-day activities
  • Ability to speak and receive direction (written and verbal direction) in English
  • Willingness and ability to work alone as scheduled

Job Duties

  • Assist guests in a friendly, efficient, courteous, and professional manner
  • Perform front desk related functions including checking guests in and out, promoting company programs, maintaining guest records, cash handling, monitoring guest satisfaction, and problem resolution
  • Assist with breakfast and 5:30 p.m. Kickback service including food preparation, setup, guest service (host or bartender), and clean-up
  • Present and maintain a high standard of integrity, service, and hospitality to promote the Drury culture to customers and co-workers
  • Ensure an exceptional guest experience by providing courteous, friendly, guest service with a +1 Service attitude
