Job Description

HHM Hotels is a distinguished hospitality company committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences across a broad portfolio of hotels. As a respected leader in the hotel industry, HHM Hotels exemplifies dedication to quality service, sustainable practices, and a guest-first approach, making its properties a preferred destination for travelers seeking comfort and reliability. The company culture revolves around its core belief system that emphasizes people as their greatest capability, hearts that serve, the pursuit of excellence, agility in adapting to change, and personal accountability. This approach fosters an engaging and supportive work environment where employees are empowered to grow and excel in their careers within the organization.

Currently, HHM Hotels is seeking dedicated individuals to fill the role of Front Desk Agent. This role is pivotal for maintaining the high standards of customer service and operational efficiency that HHM Hotels is known for. The Front Desk Agent will act as the initial point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm, courteous, and efficient check-in and check-out process. The position offers a competitive wage starting at $24.00 per hour, making it an attractive opportunity for hospitality professionals looking to advance their career in hotel management.

In this dynamic role, the Front Desk Agent will be responsible for greeting guests immediately upon arrival and addressing their needs promptly and courteously. The agent will handle guest registrations, room assignments, and manage payment transactions including verifying credit and processing payments. Additionally, the position involves making and confirming reservations, transmitting and receiving messages through telephones or the Property Management System (PMS), and addressing guest requests and complaints effectively. The Front Desk Agent plays a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records through bookkeeping duties and strives to enhance guest satisfaction scores by delivering top-tier service.

The role also includes responsibilities that support hotel operations beyond the front desk, such as assisting in the breakfast area or helping guests with their luggage during peak times or when additional staffing is required. The agent must adhere to safety best practices, comply with MSDS and OSHA standards, and ensure the secure handling of guests' valuables when necessary. This position requires flexibility in work schedule, including the possibility of working holidays, weekends, and alternate shifts, requiring employees to be attentive and physically capable of standing, walking, lifting, bending, and reaching for extended periods.

HHM Hotels encourages career growth for its employees, with potential advancement paths from Front Desk Agent to Front Desk Supervisor or Sales Coordinator, and eventually to Front Office Manager or Sales Manager. This progression reflects the company’s commitment to professional development and internal promotion, making it an ideal environment for individuals eager to build a long-term career in the hospitality industry. Joining HHM Hotels means becoming part of a forward-thinking organization that values excellence, service, and sustainability while offering substantial benefits and a supportive workplace culture.
