The Front Desk Agent role at Drury Hotels in Tallahassee is an exciting opportunity for individuals who thrive in guest-facing positions that demand outstanding customer service and organizational skills. As the first point of contact for guests entering and departing the hotel, the Front Desk Agent serves as the friendly and efficient face of the property, ensuring all guests feel welcomed and valued. Beyond front desk operations, the Front Desk Agent also plays a part in the hotel's food service offerings, assisting with breakfast and the 5:30 p.m. Kickback service. This may include food preparation, setup, guest hosting, bartending, and cleanup. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic math skills for cash handling
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • Warm and friendly manner in relating to and interacting with the public
  • Demonstrated attention to detail while handling multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Familiarity with handling money, making change, and using office machines in day-to-day activities
  • Ability to speak and receive direction in English both written and verbal
  • Willingness and ability to work alone as scheduled

Job Duties

  • Assist guests in a friendly, efficient, courteous, and professional manner
  • Perform front desk related functions including checking guests in and out, promoting company programs, maintaining guest records, cash handling, monitoring guest satisfaction, and problem resolution
  • Assist with breakfast and 5:30 p.m. Kickback service including food preparation, setup, guest service as host or bartender, and cleanup
  • Present and maintain high standards of integrity, service, and hospitality to promote the Drury culture to customers and co-workers
  • Ensure an exceptional guest experience by providing courteous, friendly guest service with a plus 1 Service attitude
