The Front Desk Agent position at Drury Hotels located at 2 South 4th Street in St. Louis, Missouri, presents an exciting opportunity for individuals who thrive in dynamic, guest-facing roles. This role is central to the guest experience, serving as the welcoming face of the hotel to ensure all guests receive friendly, efficient, and professional service from the moment they arrive until they depart. The agent is responsible for a variety of tasks including checking guests in and out, promoting hotel programs, maintaining accurate guest records, handling cash transactions, and resolving any guest issues promptly and courteously.

In addition to front desk responsibilities, the role involves supporting breakfast and evening Kickback service, which may include food preparation, set-up, guest service duties as a host or bartender, and clean-up. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively
  • Basic math skills for cash handling
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings
  • Dependable and punctual work ethic

Job Qualifications

  • Warm and friendly manner in relating to and interacting with the public
  • Demonstrated attention to detail while handling multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Familiarity with handling money, making change, and using office machines in day-to-day activities
  • Ability to speak and receive direction in English, both written and verbal
  • Willingness and ability to work alone as scheduled

Job Duties

  • Assist guests in a friendly, efficient, courteous, and professional manner
  • Perform front desk related functions including checking guests in and out, promoting company programs, maintaining guest records, cash handling, monitoring guest satisfaction, and problem resolution
  • Assist with breakfast and 5:30 p.m. Kickback service including food preparation, set up, guest service as host or bartender, and clean-up
  • Present and maintain a high standard of integrity, service, and hospitality to promote the Drury culture
  • Ensure an exceptional guest experience by providing courteous, friendly guest service with a +1 Service attitude
