At AAH, the Guest Services Agent role is pivotal to the guest experience. The Guest Services Agent acts as the face of the company, welcoming guests warmly and ensuring their needs are met throughout their stay. Responsibilities include checking owners and guests into their villas, providing detailed information on property amenities, services, and local attractions, as well as addressing any questions or concerns promptly and professionally.

This role demands a proactive approach to guest interactions, where the agent not only responds to requests but also anticipates needs to help create memorable moments. Guest Services Agents collaborate closely with other departments to resolve issues and ensure a seamless guest experience. They maintain communication through phone calls and direct guest contact, contributing positively to the overall hospitality atmosphere. Additional duties may include assisting with bellman and runner tasks depending on the property requirements.

Job Requirements

  • Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days
  • Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
  • Lift/carry/push/pull items that weigh up to 25lbs without assistance
  • Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional and friendly demeanor
  • Basic computer skills

Job Duties

  • Checks owners/guests into their villas for their stay, and reviews property amenities, services, hours of operations, and local areas of interest and activities
  • Actively listens and responds positively to guests' questions, concerns, and requests and contacts other departments to help resolve guest issues
  • Identifies and explains room features to guests (e.g., use of room key, ice, and vending areas, etc.)
  • Follow up with owner/guests to ensure their requests or problems have been met to their satisfaction
  • Answers telephone calls and routes calls to the proper department as applicable
  • May be asked to assist with bellman and runner duties depending on facility or location
  • Welcome and greet guests and anticipate and address their needs
  • Interact with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly
  • Contribute to team goals
  • Always follow company policies and safety procedures
