Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of one year experience in customer service or hospitality
  • proven ability to manage cash and financial transactions
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
  • basic computer proficiency
  • physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • excellent problem-solving skills
  • confidentiality and discretion in handling guest information

Job Qualifications

  • ability to handle cash transactions accurately
  • knowledge of local area and attractions is a plus

Job Duties

  • greet guests and check them in and out with friendliness speed and accuracy
  • maintain all paperwork required by the shift
  • handle cash accurately and balance shift report
  • operate switchboard and transfer calls
  • maintain confidentiality of business information
  • know room rates locations and furnishings
  • promote franchise membership club
  • help secure lodging by referrals when hotel is full
  • provide information on local attractions and events
  • take and record reservations accurately and confirm as requested
  • handle guest complaints tactfully
  • know emergency procedures and respond appropriately
  • complete incident and accident reports
  • keep lobby and office area clean
  • manage continental breakfast setup
  • complete all shift related forms and reports
  • perform other assigned duties
