The role of a Guest Service Agent is critical within this dynamic hotel environment. The Guest Service Agent acts as the face of the hotel, ensuring all guests receive personalized and warm service. Responsibilities include handling cash transactions meticulously, managing the cash drawer, balancing shift reports, operating the hotel switchboard, and assisting guests with inquiries related to room rates, reservations, and local attractions. The role requires a deep knowledge of the hotel’s physical layout, the amenities offered, and safety and emergency procedures to provide thorough assistance to guests.

The Guest Service Agent also plays an essential role in promoting the hotel’s membership programs and collaborating with other locations to secure accommodations when necessary. This position requires maintaining confidentiality, handling guest complaints tactfully, and ensuring the lobby and office areas are clean and presentable at all times. Additional duties include setting up and managing continental breakfast areas and being prepared to manage emergency situations responsibly. Job Requirements

Job Duties
