With a commitment to uphold high standards across all its properties, HHM Hotels offers a welcoming and efficient environment for both guests and employees. The company is recognized for its emphasis on professionalism, sustainability, and continuous improvement, making it one of the preferred hotel brands in the areas it serves. At HHM Hotels, the focus is on creating meaningful guest experiences supported by a dedicated team of hospitality professionals who share a passion for service excellence.
This job opening is for a Front Desk Associate position, a critical role within the hotel’s front office operations. The front desk is often the first point of contact for guests, and the associate's responsibilities center on creating a positive and lasting first impression. The role requires greeting guests promptly and courteously, assisting with check-in and check-out processes, managing reservations, and handling guest inquiries and requests efficiently. The associate will also be responsible for establishing methods of payment, verifying credits, and accurately processing billing transactions. In addition, this role contributes to maintaining guest satisfaction by responding professionally to complaints, escalating issues to supervisors as needed, and ensuring the security of guests’ valuables. As part of maintaining operational standards, the associate will perform bookkeeping duties such as account balancing and audits.
Additionally, the Front Desk Associate may provide support during premium service times, including assisting in breakfast areas or helping guests with luggage during busy periods. This position plays a vital role in enhancing guest satisfaction scores and promoting a safe and positive work environment by adhering to established safety protocols and standards. HHM Hotels values career growth; therefore, this role presents advancement opportunities, such as progression to Front Desk Supervisor, Sales Coordinator, Front Office Manager, or Sales Manager positions.
The position offers competitive hourly compensation, between $18.00 and $20.00 per hour, reflecting the importance of the role in the overall hospitality experience. HHM Hotels is an equal opportunity employer that fosters a supportive and inclusive workplace. Employees benefit from a comprehensive package that includes medical, dental and vision insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings plans, among others. With a commitment to employee well-being and professional development, HHM Hotels provides a workplace where talents are nurtured and employees are encouraged to own their roles and strive for excellence.
