Job Duties
- Greet guests and offer assistance immediately
- Register and assign guests to hotel rooms
- Establish payment methods and verify credit
- Make and confirm reservations
- Compute bills, collect payments, and make change for guests
- Transmit and receive messages using telephones or PMS system
- Respond to guest requests promptly
- Receive and resolve guest complaints, elevate to supervisor if necessary
- Secure guests' valuables in hotel safe
- Perform bookkeeping activities including balancing accounts and audits
- Work toward increasing guest satisfaction scores
- Practice safe work habits and follow OSHA standards
- Assist in breakfast area or with guest luggage during peak times
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction
- Perform other duties as requested by management
