Job Description
HHM Hotels is a well-established hospitality company committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences across its portfolio of properties. Known for its dedication to high standards of service and sustainability, HHM Hotels combines warmth and professionalism to create memorable stays for a diverse clientele. The company emphasizes quality, guest satisfaction, and sustainable practices as core elements of its brand identity, ensuring that every guest feels valued and well-cared for during their visit.
At HHM Hotels, the Front Desk Agent plays a critical role as the first point of contact for guests. This position involves greeting, registering, and servicing guests in a friendly and courteous manner following the hotel and brand standards, including sustainability initiatives. The role requires handling various guest interactions such as assisting with check-ins and check-outs, verifying payment methods, managing reservations, responding promptly to guest requests, and resolving complaints. This gateway role not only facilitates smooth guest experiences but also enhances the hotel’s reputation by maintaining high guest satisfaction scores.
The Front Desk Agent is an integral member of the front office team, working closely with supervisors and management to support daily operations. Tasks extend beyond check-in and check-out to include bookkeeping activities like account balancing and auditing, safeguarding guest valuables, and occasionally assisting in other areas such as the breakfast service or luggage handling during peak times. This position offers opportunities for career growth within the company, with potential advancement to Front Desk Supervisor, Sales Coordinator, Front Office Manager, or Sales Manager roles.
HHM Hotels values employees who embrace a service mindset, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and practice safe work habits in compliance with OSHA and MSDS standards. The job requires standing for long periods, occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds, and flexible working hours including weekends and holidays. This role is suited for individuals passionate about hospitality, eager to learn, and committed to providing top-tier customer service.
HHM Hotels offers competitive wages for both full-time and part-time positions, comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, 401k company match, and additional perks such as daily pay options, life insurance, employee wellness programs, travel discounts, and commuter benefits. The company also supports employees through professional development opportunities, referral bonuses, and a confidential work-life resource available 24/7.
This position is ideal for candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent and prior customer service experience. Familiarity with Property Management Systems (PMS) is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates must be motivated to provide an outstanding guest experience and be prepared to handle the dynamic nature of the hospitality environment. Joining HHM Hotels means becoming part of a dedicated team driven by the company’s core values: People Are Our Capability, Hearts That Serve, Only Excellence, Stay Nimble, and Own It. These principles create an inspiring work culture focused on delivering excellence while fostering employee growth and satisfaction.
