The role of the Guest Service Agent is fundamental to Stonebridge’s mission of delivering unparalleled customer service. This full-time position offers a pay rate starting at $19 per hour and requires serving as the primary contact for guests during their entire stay at the hotel. The Guest Service Agent is responsible for managing front desk operations, which includes checking guests in and out, handling reservations, managing payments, and ensuring all transactions adhere to safety and security protocols. This highly visible role demands strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries, requests, or concerns. The ideal candidate will excel in operating the reservation system, handling credit card validations, and maintaining accurate records such as cash sheets and registration cards.
Additionally, the Guest Service Agent plays a key role in communicating hotel promotions, amenities, and local area information to guests, enhancing their overall experience. The responsibilities extend to maintaining a tidy and inviting lobby and office environment, managing wake-up call schedules, collaborating closely with housekeeping to ensure efficient room status updates, and promptly creating incident reports when necessary. The position requires adherence to prescribed procedures for handling emergency situations and respecting guest privacy at all times by not disclosing room numbers audibly.
The role requires associates to demonstrate accountability by performing tasks independently with minimal supervision and maintaining consistent attendance and punctuality. A high standard of personal grooming and compliance with dress code guidelines are also expected. Stonebridge values associates who demonstrate initiative by actively seeking and offering assistance and including relevant team members in decision-making processes. Productivity and quality are paramount, as is a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and soliciting guest feedback to continually improve operations.
For candidates eager to contribute to a dynamic hospitality team, Stonebridge provides a supportive workplace that encourages career development along with comprehensive employee benefits that promote work-life balance and well-being. The position will be open for applications until July 21, 2025, after which it will be closed. This offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for hospitality and guest services to join a respected company committed to excellence and employee satisfaction.
