Job Requirements

- check credit cards and guaranteed reservations for validity
- know status of reservations daily and future
- be able to handle guest complaints
- know emergency procedures and how to respond
- be familiar with the fire system and how to shut it off if there is a false alarm
- report potential hazards
- complete incident or accident reports
- know location of gas, electric, water cut off, and breakers
- know location of emergency lights
- keep lobby and office clean at all times
- know computer operations and procedures for shutdown
- set up and maintain continental breakfast
- know location of ADA box and how to use it
- complete callback sheet and file
- complete room availability form
- complete comment log for shift
- complete shift verification form
- perform all other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
- strong communication skills
- proficiency with computer operations
- ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- knowledge of local area and attractions
- problem-solving skills
- ability to manage guest complaints diplomatically
