HHM Hotels is currently seeking a Guest Service Agent to join their dedicated front desk team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming and efficient environment for guests from the moment they arrive until their departure. As a Guest Service Agent, you will be responsible for greeting guests warmly, handling the registration process, managing reservations, and responding promptly to guest inquiries and requests. You will embody the company’s standard for courteous and friendly service while adhering to brand guidelines and sustainability standards.

This position offers opportunities for growth within the company, with potential career advancement paths including Front Desk Supervisor, Sales Coordinator, Front Office Manager, or Sales Manager. In this role, the ideal candidate will be proactive in supporting guest needs and comfortable performing administrative and transactional duties such as processing payments, maintaining guest accounts, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous customer service experience or equivalent training required
  • knowledge of PMS systems preferred

Job Duties

  • Greet guests immediately and offer assistance with their needs
  • register and assign guests to hotel rooms
  • establish methods of payment and verify credit
  • make and confirm reservations
  • compute bills, collect payments, and make change for guests
  • transmit and receive messages using telephones or PMS system
  • respond to guest requests in a timely manner
  • receive and resolve guest complaints, elevating to supervisor if necessary
  • secure guests' valuables in hotel safe or safe-deposit boxes
  • perform bookkeeping activities such as balancing accounts and conducting audits
  • be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction
  • practice safe work habits and follow MSDS and OSHA standards
  • assist in the breakfast area or with luggage when staffing is required
  • ensure overall guest satisfaction
  • perform other duties as requested by management
