Currently, Shaner Hotels is seeking diligent and customer-focused individuals to join its Sleep Inn team located in Port Charlotte, Florida. Sleep Inn & Suites Port Charlotte is strategically situated just off I-75, providing easy access to beautiful beaches, premier golf courses, renowned fishing spots at Boca Grande, and Charlotte Sports Park—the spring training venue for the Tampa Bay Rays. This three-story hotel features 78 well-appointed guest rooms, complimentary hot breakfasts each morning, a business center equipped with public computers, printers, and fax services, an inviting outdoor pool, and special event spaces suitable for gatherings of up to 100 guests.

The Housekeeper role at Sleep Inn Port Charlotte is essential to ensuring each guest enjoys a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment. Housekeepers are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of guest rooms and hotel areas according to Shaner Hotels' established high standards and franchise requirements. This position requires a flexible schedule accommodating varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, to meet the dynamic needs of hotel operations.

In this role, the Housekeeper will undertake daily cleaning tasks such as servicing guest rooms by category priority, replenishing supplies, and reporting maintenance issues promptly. The role also demands adherence to all safety, housekeeping, and security procedures to preserve guest confidentiality and hotel integrity. Additionally, team members will participate in scheduled deep cleaning and seasonal maintenance to uphold the hotel's overall appearance and hygiene.

Apart from cleaning responsibilities, Housekeepers must effectively handle guest complaints to guarantee satisfaction, reflecting Shaner Hotels' commitment to exceptional customer service.   • Clean and service assigned guest rooms by category priority according to franchise and hotel standards
  • Return and restock cart at end of shift
  • Complete additional deep cleaning/seasonal cleaning functions as scheduled
  • Other duties as assigned
