We are currently seeking dedicated and motivated Housekeepers to join our team at the Durham Marriott City Center. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and quality standards of guest rooms in accordance with franchise and hotel policies. The position requires flexibility in scheduling, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts, ensuring that guest satisfaction remains a top priority at all times. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for cleaning and servicing assigned guest rooms by category priority, adhering to strict standards of quality and cleanliness. Your duties will include handling guest complaints with professionalism to ensure guest satisfaction, reporting any maintenance deficiencies, and following all house, safety, and security procedures.

This role is essential to upholding the integrity and reputation of the Durham Marriott City Center by ensuring that every guest room is maintained to the highest standards. You will also be involved in completing additional deep cleaning and seasonal cleaning tasks as scheduled, as well as returning and restocking housekeeping carts at the end of each shift. The position demands attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Previous experience in hotel cleaning or housekeeping is preferred, and bilingual skills in English and Spanish are considered a plus. Knowledge of proper chemical handling and local attractions is also valuable in this role.
